The course introduces the student to various statistical methods in common use compilation, analysis, presentation of data, and the drawing of conclusions from statistical analysis. Collection of data, analysis and presentation of data, graphs, diagrams, cumulative distributions, measures of location and dispersion correlation and regression simple concept of probability, distribution and density, basic inference about population, mean estimation and test based on large and small samples.
