Candidates seeking admission into BNSc degree programme must have the following minimum entry requirements.

1. Senior Secondary School Certificate or its approved equivalent with credits English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology at not more than two sittings. Together with a relevant pass in the University Matriculation Board Examination [UME] ·
2. UME candidates must pass in Chemistry, Physics, and Biology
3. Pre-degree students must have relevant 5’Olevel subjects and pass the PDS exam at an acceptable level.
4. Direct Entry

Candidates must satisfy the above minimum requirement for admission (as 1 above) for the nursing degree programme of LAUTECH.

1. General Certificate of Education at Advanced level or its approved equivalent, with passes in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
2. Registered Nurse [RN] Certificate
3. The first degree of LAUTECH or any other University approved by the Senate
4. Inter/Intra University Transfer

Transferring students from other departments in LAUTECH at 200 level must attain in. Minimum CGPA of 4. 00 points.

Duration Of The Programme

The BNSc programme shall run for five academic years for UME/PDS entry candidates and four years for direct entry candidates.

The maximum time a student can spend in the programme in term and a half [I.e. seven and half academic years] after which he/she would be withdrawn from the programme.
